Privacy Policy

Account data. Your login and a hashed password. No email address is requested at registration.

Story data. Chat history, your world state (plot summary, events, characters, places, items) and gameplay settings such as reply length or content filters. This is what keeps your adventure consistent between sessions.

AI configuration. The endpoint, model name and API key you choose to connect your AI source. Keys you save to your account are used only to generate replies for you and are never shown to other users.

Technical data. Server logs may record your IP address, browser and error details. IPs are used temporarily for security and rate limiting, not for profiling.

You can play without an account. Guest settings and your story draft are stored in your browser's local storage and stay on your device — we do not receive them. Clearing your browser data removes them, and they are not recoverable by us.

To write replies, the text of your request is passed to the AI source you selected:

• AI Horde — a community inference network; your prompt is processed by volunteer workers to generate the reply.
• Your own provider — an OpenAI-compatible endpoint you configured; the prompt goes to the provider you chose and is governed by that provider's terms.
• Model on your computer — generation runs locally and nothing leaves your device.

We use your content only to run the game — never for advertising, profiling or model training.

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in, plus local storage for your theme choice, settings and guest story draft. The site contains no advertising cookies, no third-party analytics and no tracking pixels, so no consent banner is required to play.

• To provide the game: save your account, story and world state.
• To authenticate you and protect accounts from abuse (rate limiting).
• To diagnose errors and keep the service running.

We share your data only with the AI source you selected (see above) and where required by law. We do not sell your data and do not share it with advertisers.

The service is intended for adults. If you connect a model without content filters, stories may include mature themes; in that case access is restricted to adult users only.

We may update this page as the service evolves. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised policy.
